• To arrange “Self Employment Shibirs” to provide information of different self employment schemes of government to trainees.
• To provide newspapers, magazines (career guidance, general knowledge, motivation), employment news to trainees.
• To provide computer facilities to trainees for career related information.
• To provide internet facilities for job searching, on-line job registration, surfing for industrial information.

Post training extension services including placement is very vital for success of vocational training progrramme as well as for fulfilling one of the major objective of providing employment/self employment opportunities to ITI passed out trainees. In this context Directorate of Employment and training took initiative to establish Placement Advisory Bureau (PAB).ITI Kubernagar is one of the first ITI to establish Placement Advisory Bureau (PAB).

PAB endeavors to be a bridge between the Employers and the employee. PAB is functional at this Institute since 2007. PAB assist the students to plan their career, help in job searching, give career counseling, organize campus interviews, provides passed out trainees data to the Industries who want to conduct Interviews at their premises, Provides details of the job opening appearing in new papers and magazines and help the students get jobs as soon as they pass-out of the ITI.

Various magazines, Newspapers, Periodicals usefull for career development, counseling, personality development and enhancing their competitive skill are also available in the library attached to PAB

PAB is equipped with the Internet facility and trainees are provided access to Internet facility at very nominal rates

Professional counseling services are also made available to students. The Placement Advisor documents the information of each and every ITI student, help them prepare their curriculum-vitae and assist them in applying for jobs. Moreover, guest lectures are organized on Career related subjects by inviting Human Resource Managers and other experts from industries
